Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's rooms, while a little old, were clean, comfy, and spacious, providing a big and comfortable stay. The service had its mixed moments, with some language barriers but a kind manager offering solutions. The location was excellent for exploring the old city and nearby attractions. The dining experience was top-notch, offering some of the best meals in years. Overall, a great value-for-money stay with a few minor hiccups.
Even though the rooms at a higher price still have curtains in the shower, which is a bit outdated compared to newer options in Bangkok, Soi 11 Holiday Inn, the hotel does offer an interconnecting door to another room, which may not suit everyone. The service, while staff seemed to smile a lot, had some issues understanding problems and were often preoccupied with personal conversations. The location is reasonably priced and convenient for exploring the Old Town, even if it's not as picturesque as portrayed in the pictures. The dining experience lacked the previously enjoyed buffet breakfast but offered a good variety of Thai and western dishes. The facilities were adequate, though breakfast could have included cheese for a more global appeal.
I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms at this hotel, far from the main road and styled beautifully in Thai décor with large comfy beds and all the amenities I needed. The rate we paid was well worth it, making the room even more disappointing.
My stay at this hotel was quite nice with nice views of the mountains surrounding Chiang Mai. The rooms were relatively spacious and clean, although the value for money was not the best. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making the service excellent. The location was really good with lots of bars, massage parlours, and restaurants nearby. The dining experience was very nice overall. The facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel rooms were comfortable and reasonably spacious, but they were extremely old and hard to use, making it difficult to fit a laptop. The check-in time policy was strict, not allowing access before 2 pm, and a deep clean was needed. The service was helpful and polite, although there was an attempt to upsell a room at a higher price. The location was a standout feature, being close to the old town, night market, and other attractions. The dining experience was average but acceptable, lacking in seating comfort compared to nearby hotels.
